Remote Learning

Remote Learning

If heavy snow, extreme cold/heat, or other unforseen circumstances make it dangerous for students to attend school, Union Ridge may transition to a Remote Learning Day.

Our goal is to keep students engaged in learning, even when weather conditions prevent in-person instruction. By moving to remote learning, students can continue their education from home while maintaining access to meaningful instruction and minimizing disruptions to the school year.

Union Ridge School will continue to prioritize the safety of students and staff while making every effort to provide a high-quality learning experience, whether in the classroom or remotely.

Communications About School Closings

Union Ridge School will notify parents of school closings through phone calls, ParentSquare messages, and alerts posted to the website.

Remote Learning Protocol

Students will be able to find links and further instruction on their respective Canvas and Google classroom pages.

Students should be ready to join the online class with their cameras and audio on.

If any questions arise, please reach out to your student’s teacher or advisor.
