Our 6th grade Italian students showed great participation and engagement at the Carnival workshop and actor training organized by the Consulate General of Italy in Chicago. Thanks to the amazing Italian playwright Valentina Rizzi and the actress Alice Lussiana Parente of Kairos Italy Theater in New York, our students learned in more detail about the origins of the Carnival masks and performed the main characters of the Comedy of the Art Theater. They revealed their exceptional theatrical skills and enthusiasm for Italian culture and language.
