The Italian Department's goal is for our students to develop listening, speaking, reading and writing skills in the Italian language and to grow a greater understanding of the Italian culture.

We feel very fortunate to be here at Union Ridge and to be apart of this wonderful Italian Program. Our foreign language program has many benefits and our goal is for our students to demonstrate growth in all areas. Many studies have demonstrated the benefits of second language learning; students not only grow in their linguistic abilities but also grow cognitively and creatively.
