July 20, 2020
Dear Parent/Guardians,
The transition team at Union Ridge is working hard to create a plan for the 2020-2021 school year.
At this time we are asking you to please fill out another survey regarding the next school year. This survey will give us more of an idea on the numbers of students in each grade level that parents are choosing to keep home with remote learning or sending to school. Please fill out one survey for each of your child/ren. Please respond by Friday July 24, 2020.
Remote Learning – Every Day
Your child will be given materials including either a Chromebook or iPad to assist them with eLearning. Teachers will be available for instruction and help throughout the day.
In-Person – Face masks and temperature checks are mandatory following state guidelines
Depending on the number of students whose parents choose this option, it will either be an:
A/B day schedule where students attend in-person 2 days per week and remotely 3 days per week or
a shortened daily schedule 5 days per week, with staggered start and end times. Again this depends on the number of students since our space is limited to allow for social distancing.
You must commit to remote learning for the 1st Trimester of school which is approximately 12 weeks.
Thank you for your time and attention to this survey.
