Harry Potter, Fly Guy, Cat in the Hat, and Cinderella were a few of the book characters you might have seen roaming the URS halls on December 6. Students in grades K-8 dressed up as their favorite book characters and brought them to life. The Young Author Committee promotes this event each year in order to promote the love of reading. All students who dressed up were entered into a raffle. One winner from grades K-2, 3-5, and 6-8 won a new book along with some writing materials. All students who participated made the school day extra magical!
