Rosie Revere Comes to Union Ridge

Rosie Revere Comes to Union Ridge

On Tuesday, November 13th, Union Ridge School hosted the musical, Rosie Revere and Friends, through Theatre Works USA.  The Young Authors committee helped promote this event that was so graciously funded by the PTA and the school, which was free of charge to students and families.  Based on the books Rosie Revere, Engineer; Iggy Peck, Architect; and Ada Twist, Scientist by Andrea Beaty with illustrations by David Roberts, students were fascinated by the performance that blended the three books together beautifully! Ms. Greer's classroom includes three inquisitive out-of-the-box thinkers. Rosie Revere has big dreams.  Iggy Peck has a relentless passion for architecture. Meanwhile, Ada Twist's curiosity can drive her teacher crazy.  The actors were energetic and captured the true magic of a classroom by showing resilience, teamwork, friendship, collaboration, along with STEM activities.  It was a packed performance that left students in awe!
