April 28, 2017, was declared Arbor Day at Union Ridge by Ms. Mensik. Our first grade students and teachers had a fun time planting a young Red Maple tree in the new playground. This is the official First Grade class tree that the students can watch grow throughout their years at Union Ridge. We hope the tree will provide our community with many of the things trees give us - shade, oxygen and beauty.
