Students in sixth grade math are using an online, student friendly, computer programming language called "Scratch". They are investigating the coordinate grid, properties of integers, and properties of polygons, and learning how to code at the same time! They were presented with challenges and had to create polygons based on certain criteria that allowed them to design their shape with creativity, but they also had to maintain the integrity of the math presented in the challenges.
