Some students in 8th grade are enrolled in a Coding Exploratory class.
This class requires students to utilize problem solving skills, logic and math as they embark on challenges. The students are writing code using Tynker to fly drones and control robots. They begin with experimenting with visual blocks of code and they will progress to text-based coding. A final project will include students designing a game.
