8th grade Italian students along with other Union Ridge families attended The 2016 Columbus Day Parade in Chicago, Illinois. The Columbus Day Parade is sponsored by the Joint Civic Committee of Italian Americans. This year it marked its 64th anniversary and students had the opportunity to represent Union Ridge's Italian program by walking proudly in the parade!
