We just finished another exciting Summer Band session. Band students in grades 6-8 spent the first two weeks in August studying music terms, constructing and playing scales, and competing in daily challenges and the annual Summer Band Olympics! We were also very lucky to have our iPads everyday. We were able to brush up on note reading skills, play Kahoot!, and use GarageBand and iMovie. Our two weeks concluded with a closing ceremony that celebrated the many accomplishments the students achieved during the two weeks.
