Damian Las is an eighth grader that had the chance to be in Rosario, Argentina from March 30- April 10, 2016 with the U15 U.S. Boy’s National Soccer Team. He was chosen out of 20 boys from all across the country to participate in an international tournament. Out of the 20 boys selected, he and another athlete were chosen from the state of Illinois. In Argentina, he played two out of the three games. The first game he played was against a second division team in Argentina called Talleres where they beat 5-1. The second game they played was against the U15 Uruguay’s Boys National Team which was the final game and they won 2-0. In the end, Damian Las performed very well and is hoping to get called up for the next national team camp.
