Four Union Ridge middle school students were recognized for their outstanding scholastic achievement on the SAT and ACT tests. These are above grade-level tests, and these students scored above the national average. Union Ridge School is a proud member of the West Suburban Consortium for Academic Excellence. This is a group of 16 high-performing west suburban school districts that participate in SAT and ACT each year as part of the NUMATS (Northwestern University's Midwest Academic Talent Search). The WSCAE Award Ceremony was held at Hinsdale South High School in Darien on Wednesday evening, May 4th.
Students that were honored include:
7th grader, Krystian Szczech, for SAT in the subjects of Math, Reading, and Writing.
8th grader, Aoife Lyons, for ACT in the subjects of English and Science.
8th grader, Haley Pedd for ACT in the subjects of English, Reading, and Science.
8th grader, Audrey Trevino for ACT in the subjects of English, Math, Reading, and Science.
