Dear Parents:
Your student has the opportunity to join band at Union Ridge School. We are very lucky to be able to offer such a fine opportunity to our students.
Beginning Band lessons during school will start immediately on October 6th and 8th. Special band PPE will be used during lessons and washed each week. The lessons will then follow every week on a rotating schedule. At the end of October, Beginning Band rehearsals will start. These rehearsals are once a week on Wednesday mornings, 7:50am-8:55am. Beginning Band members perform in two main concerts (December and May), Fine Arts Fair (April) and have an opportunity to compete in the Solo/Ensemble Contest in April. I hope you will consider this wonderful opportunity for your child.
